Space Math

Space Math is fun way for kids to practice their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts on the iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.

Space Math includes three math games to provide different ways of practicing basic arithmetic.

Flashcards

Students have been using flashcards to practice arithmetic for years – now it’s even better. Students can write directly on the flashcards! Pinch the flashcard if you need more room to draw pictures or write out the problem – pinch it again to answer the problem.

The types of problems are customizable: pick the biggest number, smallest number, operations, and whether you see negatives and decimals. Flashcard training focuses on recall memory – the ability to retrieve information.

Math Defense

Aliens are attacking! Defend earth by choosing the correct answer. Math Defense focuses on recognition memory – the ability to recognize previously seen problems.

Math Sliders

Be Quick! You will be given a number to start with – then instructions that you have to follow will slide past. Each round the numbers will get bigger, they will slide past faster, and there will be more steps. One wrong answer and you have to start all over.  Keep going to try to beat your best score!

Users and Statistics

Space Math keeps tracks of the stats of multiple students. Each student gets a report of how much time they have trained for and how many problems they have completed. Coming soon will be the ability to send reports to show off how much you have trained.

GOPS

Game of Pure Strategy IconGame of Pure Strategy (GOPS) is a online multiplayer card game. Easy to learn, but layers of strategy underneath.

Find an instant match against anyone in the world or invite your Gamecenter friends to play. Quick gameplay means you can play a game in under 3 minutes – perfect for playing on the go.

GOPS is loved by game theorists because it is purely strategic – no luck is involved. It is a bidding game like Hearts or Spades but you know what cards your opponent has.

How To Play

-Each player begins with the same 12 cards numbered 1-12.
-Bid on cards one at a time in the middle of the table; the highest bid gets the card
-The player with the highest score wins the game

Mad Math 2

Mad Math 2 IconMad Math is great for kids to practice their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts.

Bingo Math is a new game that focuses on recognition – a way of accessing memory. Students are given a problem and need to find the solution on their bingo card. Five in a row gets them a Bingo!

Bubble Math is a game for helping students practice their arithmetic. It forces students to think of how to multiply or add to make a number rather than just regurgitate facts.

Also included is the best looking flashcard training on the iPad or iPhone. Flashcard training focuses on recall – another way of accessing memory.

Mad Math keeps tracks of the stats of multiple students. Each student gets a report of which facts they are struggling with and these can even be emailed to show off. Each correct problem also gets you closer to the next Mad Math Level.

With the extra screen space of the iPad, students can draw right on the flashcard if they can’t do a problem all in their head. If you mess up, just tap clear and try again. Once you know the answer just type it in and go on to the next problem.

Users can set how the numbers that can be used in problems – from single digit all the way to triple digit. You can also practice with decimals and negative numbers!
