Formulas lets you input a few variables to find out much more about shapes and expressions. Solve triangles by entering any three parts, find the zeros of a quadratic while also finding the vertex, or find the area of any regular polygon.

Forgot a formula? Formulas also comes with a list of commonly used formulas for quick lookup. This app will also be updated on a weekly basis, adding new features as fast as we can.

Formulas is perfect for high school or college students in addition to teachers who would like to quickly check an answer.

Word War is a new word game that pits you against the computer or a friend. The gameplay involves going back and forth against your opponent trying to out-spell or trap them.

The computer has three levels to play against – ranging from an easy version with a limited vocabulary whom you can easily out spell to a version with an almost perfect vocabulary against whom you must trap.

Hello World!

A little less than a year ago, I completed my first real programming project, Formulas, that was released on the app store. Thanks to tutorials and sample code I was able to create a functional product. After a year and three more released apps, each one more polished than the last, I decided to revisit my first project.

With a year of experiences and daily perousing of forums and tutorial sites, I now saw a mess of code. I decided to start from scratch and rebuild this project using what I now know. I will be sharing my mistakes and showing you how I will fix them for the upgrade.

I will be posting code examples and screencasts so that you may avoid some of these mistakes. I didn’t study computer science in college but rather education. Hopefully, I use my knowledge as a teacher to give a different perspective than other sites.
